On September 25, 2023, a federal decree law was issued amending some provisions of the federal law regarding judicial fees

Article (2): Calculating the fee

1. The fee is calculated according to the schedule of judicial fees before the federal courts attached to this law.
2. The Council of Ministers may amend the schedule of judicial fees before the federal courts attached to this law by adding, deleting, amending, or completely replacing the schedule, not to exceed (50%) of the original fee contained in the schedule attached to this law.
3. A separate fee is imposed on incidental requests and on requests from an opponent who intervenes offensively.
4. An additional fee is not imposed on the requests of the jointly intervening party, but he is obligated to pay the lawsuit fee if it has not been paid.
5. No fee shall be charged for entry ordered by the court, on its own initiative.

The fee schedule was replaced on June 10, 2024
